Earlier this week, crews did some literal heavy lifting as they put together the bridge structure of the new passage, which they’ll later bury under a freshly paved highway. This morning a fish rendering truck took a dive on northbound I-5 near Smokey Point, damaging some guardrail but we’re happy to report, there were no injuries to the driver and the fish were, well, already…you know. Big thanks to our crews, State Patrol and Dick’s Towing for their fin-tastic work helping clear the roadway quickly and e-fish-ently! | WSDOT
