Laser strikes on aircraft continue to be a safety hazard, even here in Tucson. Recently, TPD Air Support reported multiple laser strikes while on a patrol flight. Striking an aircraft in-flight with a laser is a serious criminal offense, and the crew quickly identified the location where the laser strike was coming from. AIR1 directed patrol officers to the home where a criminal investigation took place. Ultimately, an adult male was arrested and booked into jail for two counts of aiming a laser
